Free Tiled Graphics
A homemade collection of tiled graphics which may (or may not) be suitable for wallpapers, web pages, graphic design, etc. You be the judge... they're free, anyway (for personal OR commercial use if credited.)
I make no apologies for the names of the tiles. Most are the product of boredom; of staring at the tiled image and keeping the first odd phrase that comes to mind. But yeah, even I change them to something shorter (and without spaces) when I use them on a page...

...But PLEASE do not link to the individual tiles. I pay for this bandwidth, and it's not an unlimited amount. Besides which, if it becomes a problem I'll just change the names of the subfolders and then all your links will stop working.
Bright Tiles
Bright, vibrant colors set a high-energy mood. Most are suitable as backgrounds for text.

Dark Tiles
Darker backgrounds for a more comtemplative style. Many are suitable as backgrounds for text, as long as the text is a bright color.

Light Tiles
Subdued backgrounds for a more simpler pages. Many are faded/lightened versions of tiles from other categories to make them good backgrounds for text. All are suitable as backgrounds for text.

Wild Tiles
Crazy patterns, or enough contrast that they don't fit into the other categories. Most NOT suitable as backgrounds for text, but if your content is in a table or DIV with a calmer background, they'd make for some interesting edges...

The Original 'B/W Software Wallpapers'
Back before 2000, Blue Knot was called 'B/W Software'. I had three DOS utilities and a big pack of 16 color BMP wallpapers for Win3.1 (the prodominant OS at the time.) These still have the advantage of being small, colorful, and (I hope) fairly creative. Here are all the original wallpapers, now in GIF format for easier use on the web. Even the original B/W logo, though I don't know why you'd want it. A few may be suitable fo web pages, most would still be better suited as wallpapers.
